Science Fair - The Indian River Regional Science & Engineering Fair involves more than 200 local volunteers, professionals and research scientists who mentor students and review science projects. Children from public and private schools participate in scientific research and discovery that reinforces math, reading, and writing skills. More than 10,000 students compete in school based fairs. On the last Saturday of January more than 5,000 compete for over $1 million in college scholarships and awards at the state fair.
