WE RECEIVED VARIOUS GRANTS FROM SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS HAVE 135 DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS. SOME HAVE BEEN WITH LOAVES AND FISHES FOR 36 YEARS. GOD ALLOWS US TO UTILIZE EACH ONES'S TALENT AND PERONALITY TO HIS GLORY. THIS IS TRULY A TESTAMENT OF THEIR PASSION FOR HELPING FAMILIES IN NEED. WE SUPPORT LOCAL TEENS BY CONTRIBUTING TO THEIR BRIGHT FUTURES VOLUNTEER HOURS. WE ARE SETTING A FOUNDATION FOR LOAVES AND FISHES FUTURE AS WELL AS GIVING THEM THE SKILLS, VALUES, AND LIFE LESSONS. LOAVES AND FISHES IS BLESSED TO CONTINUE THE DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD, TOILETRIES, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, CLEANING SUPPLIES, AND BABY ITEMS FOR OUR FAMILIES DUE TO THE SUPPORT OF THE COMMUNITY. LOAVES AND FISHES HAS CONSTTRUCTED A NEW DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC. IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP OUR CLIENTS, VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF SAFE, WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED TWO PASS-THROUGH WINDOWS IN OUR FRONT LOBBY FOR CLIENTS TO RECEIVE THEIR FOOD AND HOUSEHOLD/TOILETRY ITEMS. IN ADDITION, ROLL DOWN SECURITY WAS INSTALLED ON EACH WINDOW. THIS NEW DISTRIBUTION PROCESS WILL BENEFIT EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY OUR HIGH-RISK GROUPS.IF WE SHOULD ENCOUNTER A SECOND WAVE OF THIS VIRUS, WE WILL NOT HAVE TO CLOSE OUR DOORS.
