The mission of the Escambia County Public Schools Foundation is to enhance education by investing in our children's future to ensure they graduate on time and are college or career ready. Established in 1986, the Foundation has distributed almost $12.5 million dollars to public education. The Foundation accomplishes this by working with educational, community and business leaders to raise private funds and resources for our students, teachers, and schools. Donations can enhance the Grants for Excellence Program, Golden Apple Awards Banquet for Teachers of the Year, Academic and MIRA Awards Receptions for outstanding students, or Take Stock in Children Scholarships. Contributions can also be matched through state funds in partnership with the Consortium of Florida Education Foundation.
