Mission
Scientific research and education in pediatric oncology and hematology
About
FAPTP's educational and research programs help to meet the growing demands for accurate and credible information from the member institutions and the state of Florida. This year was the 39th year of our educational seminar, which provides educational opportunities for healthcare personnel. This is a unique opportunity to further enhance the level of care for children with cancer and blood disorders. The seminar provides continuing education for healthcare professionals and a forum to discuss treatment and supportive care issues with nationally renowned experts. The seminar draws approximately 220 nurses and other health professionals annually. Participants from outside of Florida comprise more than half of the total attendance, demonstrating the national recognition of the seminar.
