COMMUNITIES FOR CHILDREN CONDUCTS CAMPAIGNS FOR DONATIONS OF TIME, NEEDED ITEMS AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO BENEFIT CHILDREN IN NEED, PRIMARILY CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE. AS A RESULT OF TEEN INTEREST AND COMMITMENT, COMMUNITIES FOR CHILDREN DONATION CAMPAIGNS ARE RUN PRIMARILY BY VOLUNTEERS FROM LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES. WE RELY ON COMMUNITY SUPPORT TO DONATE NEEDED ITEMS AND FUND THESE CAMPAIGNS. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE, AND 100% OF YOUR DONATION GOES DIRECTLY TO WORKING WITH FAMILIES AND CHILDREN. NFCC PREPARES A "STORE-LIKE" SETUP WHERE REGISTERED FAMILIES IN NEED CAN CHOOSE BACKPACKS FILLED WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES. MOST ARE GIVEN TO ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE-SCHOOL CHILDREN, SOME IN FOSTER FAMILIES OR WHERE GRANDPARENTS ARE RAISING THE CHILDREN.
