The Boys & Girls Clubs of Toccoa-Stephens County provided after school/out of school time and summer camp programs during 2018. This included, but was not limited to, one hour of academic assistance daily during the school year to complete homework and support academic success, physical activities which supported the development of healthy lifestyle habits including nutritional choices and drug resistance training, character and leadership development, financial literacy training and arts education. Additionally, the organization participated in a mentoring program targeted to recruit and develop male minority role models. Youth were offered a snack every day after school. Monday through Friday during the summer including 2 meals and a snack each day the Club was open. In 2018, 158 children were in the program with 114 children in our summer program.
