About this organization
Mission
To provide shelter and support services to runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth in the Savannah area.
About
The organization provided a 12 bed emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth (ages 11 to 18). Approximately 183 youth were served in 2018. Additionally, the organization counseled 104 non-residential individuals and had 50 participants in their parenting support group. The organization operates a street outreach program, the primary goal of which is to prevent the sexual abuse or exploitation of young people living on the streets or in unstable housing by moving them toward stable living situations. This is done by reaching out to them to provide them with the supportive networks that are available in our area.
