- French language classes and programs: for the fiscal year June 1, 2017 - May 31, 2018, Alliance Francaise of De La Nouvelle Orleans (AFNO) continued its numerous and varied opportunities for francophones and those interested in becoming more acquainted with the French language and culture. Over 300 persons participated in French language held during fall, spring and summer. These classes were taught by knowledgeable and skilled instructors, a number of whom hail from France and are or have been fulltime, professional teachers. - Other French education programs offered include: testing and certifications of fluency in the French language, in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education, French classes for business, professional development workshops for French teachers, classes for children, private classes, and and our custom-tailored classes offered through businesses and partner cultural organizations.
