Clinical services: provides a full range of therapeutic services for individuals and families across the age span. Areas of expertise include relational psychotherapy as well as art, yoga and play therapy when appropriate. Other areas of expertise include trauma-informed counseling for survivors of domestic violence and community engagement and support for individuals and families affected by substance abuse and addiction. Additionally, information and referral specific to those seeking drug/alcohol treatment is provided. Other services available include psycho-educational evaluations for children and the PAL program, 1:1 mentoring for Jewish children in need of safe and stable adult companionship. In FY19, more than 9,781 counseling hours were provided to more than 1,071 clients. Surveys, mental health assessments and follow up services indicated: -83% of clients surveyed reported making progress toward meeting their goals. -91% of clients surveyed reported that counseling services are helping to improve their situation. -98% of clients surveyed would recommend JF&CS counseling to a friend or family member in need.
