Mission

The mission of the Lafayette Society for Performing Arts (LSPA) is to promote, cultivate, nurture and enhance the performing arts experiences for all LaGrange, Greater West Georgia, and East Alabama regions. At LSPA, we believe in the power of art to enrich and transform lives. In addition to providing high-quality performances and events in dance, music, theatre, and storytelling, year-round educational programs allow students of all ages to become more creative, productive, and confident members of our community. As we have done for the past 36 years, LSPA is honored to continue leaving a legacy of beauty, strength, and success through our growing family of artists. LSPA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that is entirely dependent upon charitable giving, grants, and sponsorships in order to meet our vitally important mission of serving the arts in our community.

Lafayette Dance Academy was established to provide dance instruction in a variety of dance forms, create a ballet company, and provide high quality ballet productions for the community at large.
