Founded on January 14, 1976, the Southeastern Legal Foundation is a conservative non‐profit public interest law firm and policy center which advocates limited government, individual liberty, private property rights, and the free enterprise system in the courts of law and public opinion. Acting on the promise of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, who pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to guard the freedoms inherent in the people, SLF's mandate is to act decisively to achieve results in that effort.
