Our mission is to create a better future through brain injury prevention, research, education, and advocacy. The BIASC was developed by persons with brain injury, their families, and concerned professionals in an effort to provide information and support to those in need.

The BIASC supports eleven brain injury support groups across SC. These support groups are forums for emotional support, education and recreation. BIASC offers financial stipends to the support groups to assist with financial burdens. BIASC also provides training to support group leaders so they are well equipped with leading the groups.
