TEEN CENTER: WE OPERATE A TEEN CENTER IN CHEROKEE COUNTY AFTER SCHOOL AND THROUGHOUT SUMMER. WE FOCUS ON SERVING STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR FREE SCHOOL MEALS. ON A WEEKLY BASIS CLUB MEMBERS SPEND THEIR TIME ENGAGED IN FIVE CORE PROGRAM AREAS ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING FORMULA - 10% CHARACTER, 50% EDUCATION, 10% LIFE SKILLS, 10% ARTS, AND 20% FITNESS AND RECREATION. OVER 90% OF OUR TEENS QUALIFY FOR FREE SCHOOL MEALS EVERY DAY. OUR PROGRAM OUTCOMES INCLUDED IMPROVED ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, CITIZENSHIP, AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES. DONATED FACILITIES VALUE OF 459 NOT INCLUDED IN PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES.
