Founded in 1983, Lowcountry Food Bank strives to fulfill our mission to lead the fight against hunger throughout the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. We are headquartered in Charleston with a Southern Regional Distribution Center in Yemassee and a Northern Regional Distribution Center in Myrtle Beach.

The Lowcountry Food Bank serves more than 200,000 who experience food insecurity every year through our strong relationships with 230+ partner agencies – a network of food pantries, on-site meal programs, school programs, senior programs, veterans’ groups and shelters.
