About
Counseling: We provide counseling and marriage and family therapy services using state-licensed, Masters-level professionals and Masters-level clinical interns. These services are provided to individuals (adults, adolescents, and children), couples, and families, and cover a wide range of issues and pathologies, such as depression, grief and loss, trauma and abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual), anxiety and stress, identity issues, career and life transitions, relationship conflicts, premarital counseling, marriage and family, blended families, child raising, men's and women's issues, and spiritual concerns. All counselors offer their services using "sliding scale" fee structures that take into account clients' family and financial circumstances, and provide qualifying clients with substantial savings over typical out-of-pocket fees in our area. For example, fees for our clinical interns range from $10 to $40 while typical fees in our county range from $80- $150, and over $200 in neighboring counties. In 2018 therapists at Fountain Gate provided 7,507 counseling sessions to 829 clients, including individuals (adults, adolescents, and children), couples, and families.
