In the midst of this diversity, we are fortunate to be drawn together by a set of strongly held beliefs in the vital importance of a rigorous education, in the desirability of cultivating good character, in the joyful celebration of creativity, and in the warmth and security that a caring community can provide. Grymes, situated on 45 rolling acres in the Virginia Piedmont, offers a rigorous, character-based, creative, joyful, and caring learning environment to approximately 150 students from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade. The Grymes faculty and staff are a talented group who work closely with students and their families to foster the growth of each child.
