AUSA MEETINGS: AUSA HOSTS MANY EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FORUMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, INCLUDING THE INSTITUTE OF LAND WARFARE BREAKFAST SERIES WITH KEYNOTES FROM SENIOR ARMY AND OTHER GOVERNMENT LEADERS, OUR DAY-LONG HOT TOPICS FOR IN-DEPTH EXPLORATION OF ARMY REQUIREMENTS AND CHALLENGES, AND TOPICAL SESSIONS FOR FOCUSED DISCUSSION OF ARMY FUTURE NEEDS AND STRATEGIES. IN ADDITION, WE ORGANIZE SEVERAL DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIA AND EXPOSITIONS, INCLUDING: AUSA ANNUAL MEETING & EXPOSITION, A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FORUMHELD EVERY OCTOBER AT THE WALTER E. WASHINGTON CONVENTION CENTER IN WASHINGTON, DC, THE AUSA ANNUAL MEETING & EXPOSITION IS THE LARGEST LAND POWER EXPOSITION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FORUM IN NORTH AMERICA. THIS EVENT CONSISTS OF INFORMATIVE AND RELEVANT PRESENTATIONS, PANEL DISCUSSIONS ON PERTINENT MILITARY AND NATIONAL SECURITY SUBJECTS, WORKSHOPS AND IMPORTANT AUSA BUSINESS MEETINGS. ATTENDANCE IS FREE, BUT RESTRICTED TO AUSA MEMBERS AND THOSE WITH AN IDENTIFIABLE RELATIONSHIP TO OUR ORGANIZATION, OR THE UNITED STATES ARMY. THIS INCLUDES ALL MILITARY AND GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL.IDEX - INTERNATIONAL DEFENSE EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE, USA SECURITY AND DEFENSE PAVILION HELD EVERY OTHER YEAR AT THE ABU DHABI NATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTRE (ADNEC) IN ABU DHABI, UAE, IDEX IS ONE OF THE LARGEST DEFENSE EXPOSITIONS IN THE WORLD. IN 2017, 100,000 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THIS EVENT, INCLUDING MORE THAN 1,000 EXHIBITORS. AUSA IS THE OFFICIAL U.S. AGENT FOR THE USA SECURITY AND DEFENSE PAVILION, WHICH IS SUPPORTED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND ENDORSED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AND AMERICAN EMBASSY.
