Motivate children to enjoy the study of mathematics.
About
120 students participated in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. math competition. Lunches were provided to all participants. The competition brought together students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades to compete in challenging math examinations. During 2017, the math club visited three schools and held discussions with the students on the importance of mathematics. The top performers received laptop computers, trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.
