Mission

The American Constitutional Rights Union, formerly American Civil Rights Union, (ACRU) was established in 1999 to counter the anti-freedom agenda of the American Civil Liberties Union. We are dedicated to protecting the civil rights of all Americans by publicly advancing a constitutional understanding of our essential rights and freedoms. ACRU monitors and counters organizations that threaten our constitutional rights and promotes election integrity, compliance with federal election laws, government transparency and constitutional government.

About

The Defense of Civil Rights program goal is to protect the constitutionally protected civil rights of all Americans. The ACRU provides educational information concerning the civil rights of all Americans. The ACRU achieves this goal by filing amicus curae briefs in civil cases, publishing opinion pieces in major newpapers and journals and discussing important constitutional issues via radio/tv appearances.
