About

Continuing the forty eight-year tradition of the longest-running event of its kind, the 2018 Waterfowl Festival offered adults and children an exploration into wildlife, folk and traditional artworks that exemplify the cultural heritage of the Chesapeake Bay region. The event has attracted on an annual basis up to 19,000 attendees and produced an estimated economic impact of more than $6 million on Talbot County. During the festival, historic and contemporary buildings serve as venues for art and cultural exhibits showcasing the works of over 300 exhibitors. Food, music, retriever and other demonstrations, as well as art and nature activities for children are also featured. Renowned for the quality of its art and the breadth of its activities, the Waterfowl Festival event draws artists and visitors from around the world.
