Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center opened its doors in 1985 and is located strategically on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. In our many years of existence the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center has been able to minister to over 34,000 women in a variety of ways. Over 3,400 babies have been born as a result of this ministry. Washington, DC has proportionately the highest number of pregnancies, the highest number of teen births and the highest number of abortions in the nation. Abortions outnumber live births in DC. Our mission is to serve our clients by providing pregnancy, adoption and abortion education for women and men, regardless of age, facing crisis pregnancies; and preparing and training parents through pregnancy, birth and beyond. We do this by providing emotional support, no cost pregnancy testing, material resources, and encouraging a lifestyle that reflects moral values, especially in regard to sexual behavior.
