The Maryland Zoo's mission is to inspire and educate people to join with it in the active support and conservation of wildlife and wild places. Our conservation vision is to positively impact the conservation of wildlife for future generations through our dedication and unique expertise gained working with animals to save species from extinction in their native environments.
