Support of the University of Maryland Medical School: The MAA raised $1,650,099 in gifts to benefit the medical school. Of this amount, $720,446 was distributed directly for the benefit of the University of Maryland. A portion of these gifts were applied toward programs and services for 10,000 alumni, faculty, students, and friends of the medical school.
