To promote awareness of the objectives and needs of the Friends of Woodburn and raise funds necessary to maintain the historic buildings and grounds. The buildings and grounds are open to the public throughout the year for special occasions and scheduled tours. During each year of 2015 & 2016, Woodburn hosted approximately 140 functions with an average of 35 guests per function; 5 senior center visits; 10 out-of-state tour groups; 10 school visits; and 11 open houses with an average of 75 guests per open house. Additionally, in 2016 the organization donated 1,000 to the Boys & Clubs of Delaware.
