About this organization
Mission
To bridge the gap between research and clinical practice related to sports medicine
About
ISMR has made significant accomplishments to support improvements in high quality scientific and clinical research. Currently, the organization is supporting a very important phased collaborative study. That includes scientists, radiology and orthopedic surgery in the form of a biomarker and imaging study on meniscectomy patients to establish feasibility and generate hypotheses. If the results prove meritable, a largescale collaborative study with multiple sites, potentially incorporating additional injuries/treatments like ACL reconstruction will be developed.
