Mission

Africa New Life Ministries exists to break the cycle of poverty in Rwanda by providing education, spiritual insight and basic provisions for poor children and families.

About

During 2018, the educational sponsorship program increased to more than 9,500 students from grades 1 to university. More than 350 students are attending university and post-secondary vocational school. Nearly 800 women have been equipped through vocational training and spiritual discipleship, with a class of 88 graduating in 2018. Sponsors gave gifts to children and their families through the online store, and meals were provided for students and their families through our schools and programs.More than 340 students graduated from certificate, diploma, and bachelor programs at Africa College of Theology.Nearly 450 US visitors spent time with their sponsored children and served in different capacities in sponsored communities.The $6.5 million Dream Medical Center Hospital completed its licensure process and opened to the public. The first baby was delivered there in November.Construction began or continued on new facilities in several of our communities: a dormitory and multi-use building for Africa College of Theology, a church and a dormitory in Kayonza, a secondary school in Bugesera, and an educational center in Rubavu.More than 150 students were sponsored in a new community, Karangazi.
