Since 1994 Mercy Community Health Foundation, a non-profit supporting organization for Ascension Via Christi Manhattan, has been raising support to foster growth, expansion, and improvements of local healthcare. In recent years, our primary emphasis has been upgrades and installation of state-of-the-art equipment to ensure our physicians and clinicians have the finest and latest technology to care for our patients' healthcare needs. In 2018, the foundation raised $500,000 to install 3D mammography at the hospital. Our most significant need in 2019 is to replace equipment that has been out-of-service since September 2017 in one of our two cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology labs. The campaign goal is approximately one-fourth the cost of the $1.9 million project. The target date for project completion is October 2019.
