MAIN FACILITY: provides rehabilitation of 4000+ wild animals throughout Kansas. Primary coverage was originally 9 counties and 4500 sq miles. But since the disbanding of other groups OWL receives animals statewide to-date. The main facility includes a curgical suite, isolation, ward, nursery, lab, classroom, outside enclosures & multiple flight pens & hackout areas to facilitate caregiving. Annual release rate is 67% to 69%. Rehabilitation is provided by over 125 volunteers providing 57800 man hours.
