About
Parenthood is an incredible journey, which can also feel overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating at times. We live in a world divided; yet as parents, there’s truly more that connects us all than sets us apart. And, if we want to be the best version of ourselves for our children, then one of our greatest resources is one another — unfortunately, there are still a great number of parents being left out of the conversation. We envision a world with more support for birthing moms, but also for non-birthing parents — including parents through adoption, marriage, or surrogacy, many members of the LGBTQ+ community, and the largest portion of this group: dads — with more resources and needed research studies on the struggles that unite us all. Together, we can address serious issues that affect ALL parents: from the fight for paid leave and affordable childcare, to more perinatal assistance for new parents and the elimination of parental gender stereotypes. Because in order to build happier and healthier homes for our children, we need to find a way forward... together. There’s a reason they say it takes a village…
