Urban Renaissance Partners (URP) is focusing its efforts on revitalizing low-income, inner-city neighborhoods and communities through its redevelopment, affordable housing development and community economic development activities. URP will initially focus on the development and redevelopment of quality, energy efficient, safe and affordable housing within the targeted neighborhoods. URP's affordable housing development projects will include both multifamily and single family housing. In addition, URP will work with other non-profit organizations and governmental agencies that are also working to address the social and economic needs of the residents of the targeted low-income communities.

Thus far, urp has acquired two multifamily complexes with a total of 223 units. URP is partnering with another non-profit community development corporation to renovate these complexes into quality, energy efficient, safe and affordable housing. Currently, upr is in the process of securing funding for these projects. Additionally, urp has retained an environmental consultant and an environmental remediation contractor to address the environmental contaminants on both properties.
