About

109 World is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to changing the norm we are seeing in the world of people's dissatisfaction, unhappiness and unfulfillment with their lives and jobs. 109 does that by designing and hosting retreats that inspire personal and collective transformation, ensuring participants have a new sense of purpose and connectedness with their lives and the world around them. At 109 we believe that while you can't always control your circumstances, you can control how you respond to them. We are all less able to handle the challenges that come our way, or contribute to alleviate the challenges our world is facing, when we're already depleted by physical and emotional exhaustion. Or, put in a more positive way, we are more resilient and more able to handle life's & the world’s challenges when we are feeling our best, both physically and emotionally. You can only give as much love to the world as you have for yourself. Taking this to heart, the goal we are always striving to achieve with our greater community is to empower and remind them of the influence and impact they can have in their own lives and on our planet.
