Mission
PG's mission is to help people achieve their full potential through the dignity and power of work. In 2020, PG provided employment training and services to 26,036 people, 1,296 of whom were veterans. Through hiring events and other employment services, PG placed 2,565 people into jobs in SC. The ability to provide these programs and services is a direct result of the revenues generated through the sale of donations in Goodwill retail stores. PG operates programs designed to help people train for and find jobs that lead to economic independence. PG provides job opportunities through 33 retail locations and 15 commercial contract sites. In addition, PG serves the community through various programs that help homeless and struggling veterans, youth, seniors, and provides supportive employment
About
Goodwill's donated goods program provides job training and employment opportunities for the community, including seniors, veterans, and people with barriers to employment. Sales of donated clothing and household items generate mission revenue for job training and employment services for our community. To this end, Goodwill helps people earn a living, improve their quality of life, and strengthen their families and communities.
