IN 2018, DIEF AND ITS AFFILIATE CREATED NEW SOCIAL MEDIA AND OTHER COLLATERAL INFORMED BY MESSAGE RESEARCH THAT PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS SHARED WITH THEIR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC. DIEF WORKED WITH ITS PARTNERS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND PRESS OUTREACH AROUND MASS PUBLIC AWARENESS EFFORTS THAT GENERATED MEDIA COVERAGE, INCLUDING EDUCATION ABOUT VOTER SUPPRESSION TACTICS, THE LINKS BETWEEN MONEY IN POLITICS AND THE FOSSIL FUEL INDUSTRY, SENATE RULES, THE SUPREME COURT, AND MORE. DIEF WORKED WITH ITS AFFILIATE TO COMMUNICATE TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT DEMOCRACY POLICY AROUND THE COUNTRY TO SHOW THE GROWTH OF THE MOVEMENT FOR DEMOCRACY.
