WE HOLD FIELD TRIPS FOR ANY AGE AND PROVIDE SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL LESSONS BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE YOUTH. WE ACT AS A LIVING LABORATORY SO THERE ARE MANY "EXPERIMENTS" GOING ON IN THE FARM INCLUDING USING A COMPOSTING TOILET, LIVING IN TINY HOUSES (WITH LESS STUFF TO CLUTTER OUR LIVES), BUILD WITH AS SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS AS POSSIBLE (REUSING MATERIALS FIRST, IF WE CAN FOR A CERTAIN APPLICATION), UTILIZING ROTATIONAL GRAZING METHODS FOR ANIMALS, GROWING CHEMICAL FREE "CLEAN" VEGETABLES, CREATING OUR OWN SOAPS AND TINCTURES, FERMENTING VARIOUS TYPES OF FOOD, AND SO MUCH MORE. ALL OF THESE TOPICS WE CAN TEACH ON TO EVERY DIFFERENT STRATA OF HUMANITY. WE BELIEVE THAT DIVERSITY IS AT THE UTMOST OF NATURES SUCCESS AND WILL BE OURS AS A NON-PROFIT AND AS A COUNTRY. WE BRING DIVERSE PARTICIPANTS AND HAVE A DIVERSE TEAM. WE HOLD OPEN FARM DAYS, WHICH ARE FREE FOR THE PUBLIC TO ATTEND AND PUT ON MANY WORKSHOPS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS AT EACH OF THEM THEREFORE MAKING THEM AS ACCESSIBLE AS WE CAN. WE ALSO HOST MANY VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDING A YOUTH CORPS FOR THE SUMMER, WHERE WE WORK WITH THEM SIDE BY SIDE IN A VERY HANDS ON, MENTOR- MENTEE RELATIONSHIP. WE BELIEVE IN AN ORGANIC PROCESS OF DEVELOPING PROGRAMMING AND HOPE TO CONTINUE TO EXPAND AND IMPROVE IN THE MANY YEARS TO COME.
