About
Empowering people who help people - this year has been spent maintaining and managing the ongoing work of Upstream International. We have added staff and students this year in the schools supported by Upstream. We have continued many efforts in community development such as soccer programs, karate programs, and the introduction to dance. This past year we had a lot of civil unrest in Haiti which allowed us to provide new cisterns for water, water distribution and many food distributions, providing water to communities with over 15,000 people and food for 5,000 people during a week long shortage and complete 'stay in place orders making finding and delivering food and water necessary and essential to maintaining life. We continued to build and add on to one of our schools, CSCS, in the slum of Port Au Prince.
