ALL NATIONS SPORTS ACADEMY [ANSA] PROVIDES A FREE SOCCER LEAGUE FOR INDIVIDUALS IN DISADVANTAGED AND REFUGEE COMMUNITIES BY CONNECTING THEM WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO BETTER THEMSELVES THROUGH SOCCER AND TEACHING THEM THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.IN 2018, ANSA SUPPORTED A FULL DEVELOPMENTAL (FREE) AND COMPETITIVE SOCCER PROGRAM. ANSA DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM IS FREE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS AND OUR COMPETITIVE PROGRAM HAS ANSA HOSTED PRACTICES, GAMES AND LEAGUE TOURNAMENTS AT 12 LOCATIONS IN THE HOUSTON AREA FOR 800 LOW INCOME CHILDREN FROM DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES. 180 VOLUNTEERS REGISTERED AND ASSISTED WITH THE NEEDS OF THE ORGANIZATION, WHICH INCLUDED COACHING AND MENTORING THE CHILDREN TO BECOME BETTER STUDENTS, WORKERS AND CITIZENS.ANSA ALSO CONTINUED THEIR DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM ONCE A MONTH ON FRIDAY NIGHT ("DISCOVERY NIGHT") WHERE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES WERE INVITED TO ATTEND. GAMES AND MEALS WERE PROVIDED IN ADDITION TO THE GOSPEL PRESENTATION. ANSA HAS ALSO STARTED A LIFE COACHING PROGRAM WITH FAMILIES OF OUR COMPETITIVE PROGRAM PLAYERS.ANSA PROVIDED AN ALL-SEASON SOCCER PROGRAM AND HOSTED AN EASTER EGG HUNT EVENT TO CONTINUE ITS COMMITMENT OF CONNECTING WITH PEOPLE THROUGH SOCCER. ADDITIONALLY, ANSA PARTNERED WITH HOUSTON DYNAMO AND DASH PROFESSIONAL SOCCER TEAMS FOR PROMOTION AND EVENTS SUPPORT. IN 2018, ANSA CONTINUED ITS AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS, CREATED WORK OPPORTUNITIES (28 REFEREES) AND DEVELOPED MENTORSHIP PROGAMS.ANSA CONTINUED WITH REFEREE COURSES FOR SOME OF THE REFUGEES AND MINORITY CHILDREN SO THEY COULD NOT ONLY HELP ANSA WITH SOME OF ITS NEEDS, BUT ALSO WOULD PROVIDE ANOTHER SOURCE OF INCOME FOR THE FAMILY, RESULTING IN OPENING DOORS FOR FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DISCUSSIONS. IN 2018, ANSA CONTINUED TO RECEIVE A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF IN-KIND DONATIONS FROM COACHES, REFEREES AND ORGANIZATIONS WHICH PROVIDED FIELDS OR AN AREA FOR ANSA TO HOST LOCAL PROGRAMS.
