Provided HUD-funded wheelchair accessible housing to low income people with physical disabilities at its 14-unit apartment complex. During FY 2019, Inglis Gardens at Washington Lane maintained nearly 100% occupancy in the 14 apartments. Inglis Gardens at Washington Lane opened in October 2006 and features 10 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom accessible apartments designed for people with physical disabilities who require wheelchairs. The apartments are for rent by low or very low income individuals, 18 years of age or older, who can live independently. Tenants may also take advantage of other Inglis programs, including: care management - helping clients with physical disabilities to arrange and manage the resources necessary to maintain a healthy, independent lifestyle; community employment services - finding employment opportunities and providing job coaching and training; adult day program - providing stimulating social, educational, therapeutic and wellness activities.
