Workforce development - inCommon partners with neighbors to increase employment success and economic self-sufficiency through education, language classes, job readiness classes, service-enriched housing, and financial workshops. In 2018, 259 low-income individuals participated in a workforce development activity, including 185 individuals who improved their English-language skills and 43 individuals who received one-on-one employment coaching. As individuals progress through the workforce program, they are provided with relational support, as well as opportunities to engage in inCommon's leadership and neighborhood development programs, in order to leverage their individual and family success toward broader neighborhood impact.
