To serve children with special needs and their families with customized, sensory-based programs to maximize developmental potential leading to independence and inclusion. Our vision is that children with special needs are purposefully included in the community.
About
Education - For the first time, we were able to collect outcomes data for ISW Academy using a data visualization portal, which reported the following results. Enrollment: 51. Attendance: 94%. Field trips conducted: 113. Number of teachers: 13. Parent satisfaction - Extremely Satisfied: 85%, Moderately satisfied: 12%, Somewhat satisfied: 2%. In Q4, 88% of students received a sensory diet for a total of 637 hours that quarter. Student outcomes: 3,876 goals were assigned, and 70% of the students mastered or made progress on all of them. Agency outcomes: 66% of goals mastered, 26% progressing. Students transitioning to other programs: 18%. Students continued to receive Art, Music, and Yoga lessons every week. Our two oldest groups of students worked out twice a week at a fitness gym nearby which was beneficial not only to their health but also targeted their life skills.
