In partnership with the Global Alliance for Animals and People (GAAP), our Healthy Pets Program Clinic in Valdivia, Chile provided veterinary services to over 1,000 dogs and cats for a variety of health concerns including disease, traumatic injuries, wounds, emergency surgeries and preventative vaccinations. We also supported a telemedicine program in Todos Santos, Guatemala, where 190 dogs were visited in their homes for a variety of medical needs. Our emergency fund assisted 29 vulnerable families with 100% coverage of urgent medical needs. We also supported a scoping trip to Peru as well as a workshop setting up the framework for a future rabies eradication program with the Ministry of Health.
