Some of the accomplishments of note in the calendar year 2019 include providing a holistic education to 109 students at Rukundo Preparatory School (34,322 hot meals served); completion of a 5-member service trip from the USA to Kabale, Uganda where the team worked in 3 different schools teaching WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) to 650+ students, among other community activities; graduating 137 girls across 4 schools from our girl's empowerment program; funding scholarships for 56 students under the scholars program, partnership with 30+ U.S. organizations and business to collect more than 10,600 pairs of shoes to be sent to developing countries via funds2orgs; supporting 22 women to earn supplementary income through our agricultural cooperative; mentored 36 boys through our boy's soccer club; had an average attendance of 132 children each week at our Sunday community program (7,195 hot meals served); treated 346 patients during our medical day; and trained 198 community members on health-related topics.
