Mission
The established mission of HighPoint is to be a volunteer driven organization working to bring wholeness to the community, sharing of the Gospel and meeting physical needs. HighPoint exists to meet the needs of children, fragile adults, the elderly and families. To complete this mission and strives to secure resources that reduce the suffering of families caught in the cycle of hunger, poverty and homelessness. The vision of HighPoint continues to evolve as we acknowledge needed services to meet clients’ and community’s changing needs. As needs are evidenced we wait upon God’s provision of needed capital and physical resources through his people. Highpoint is the largest food bank in Oldham Co. Ky servicing over 2000 people each month with 16 tons of food. With a poverty rate of 14.7% in our city, this food helps families with healthy options. 20% of clients are senior citizens, 35% are children providing them with food as well as School Supplies.
