Mission

Our mission is to cure cancer through metabolic therapies such as the ketogenic diet, hyperbaric oxygen, and re-purposed drugs. Our goal is to fund the research that may demonstrate the efficacy of these therapies so they may be incorporated into the oncology clinic for everyone.

About

During 2018, Single Cause Single Cure sponsored metabolic cancer research which resulted in the following written documents: (1) a research paper written by Dr. Thomas Seyfried on ketogenic metabolic therapy which was published in the Frontiers in Nutrition Journal; (2) a submitted paper on oxaloacetate experiments which is the abstract of Dr. Seyfried's don + kd-r study; and (3) an update on Dr. Seyfried's laboratories review to the Journal of Neurochemistry. Additionally, Dr. Seyfried's laboratory team found that the therapeutic effect of don + kd-r was significantly greater than the therapeutic effect of either the drug or diet therapy alone, which is indicative of significant synergy. Dr. Seyfried's lab is currently preparing a manuscript on don + kd-r for submission. Single Cause Single Cure continues to make progress researching cancer therapies that target cancer metabolically and can be implemented quickly.
