About

The Cityhouse program is designed to instill life-changing skills, faith-based values, and character into the families it serves. While living in the program, mothers have expanded their education through obtaining GED(s) and college degrees; built financial stability by paying off debt and repairing credit; and secured stable employment, transportation, and childcare. Also while living in the program, mothers increased their core capabilities to cope with life's daily challenges. As a result of increased stability, many of the children showed significant scholastic improvement, including rapidly increasing reading levels and earning school achievement awards. Cityhouse challenges its mothers to learn and become empowered to successfully live beyond their time in the program. Upon graduation, the Cityhouse families have been strengthened and prepared to provide loving, sustainable, and proper care to their children creating healthier families for generations to come.
