About this organization
Mission
Planet Bee is dedicated to creating a green-minded generation by teaching about the importance of bees as a pathway to STEM, conservation, and innovations in agriculture, cultivating the green leaders of tomorrow through the power of science and stewardship. We teach in the US and Canada in schools, nonprofits, and corporations both virtually and in person.
About
Innovative Environmental STEM Education Program We teach about the importance of bees to our food systems and ecosystems as a pathway to conservation and STEM fields, cultivating the green leaders of tomorrow through the power of science and stewardship. Our hybrid environmental education program brings asynchronous and synchronous STEM lessons into your classroom! Educators have access to professional development workshops, real-time virtual STEM lessons taught by our certified teachers, individual lesson videos, scripted lesson plans, differentiated supplemental material, and our Native Bee Citizen Science Projects. We also invite local beekeepers to schools for classroom visits. In our commitment to social justice, lessons are provided at NO COST to schools and nonprofits thanks to our generous donors and grantmakers.
