The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Wooster is to empower all young people to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens. The Boys & Girls Club of Wooster began in 2014 Edgewood Middle School and has since expanded to include serving two additional sites at Parkview Elementary School and Melrose Elementary School. Enrollment at the original Edgewood site began with around 60 students and has steadily increased over the years to around 190 organization-wide today. Boys & Girls Club of Wooster's trained professional staff creates a safe, enriching environment for K-8 grade members to learn, engage, and grow. We offer proven, academically aligned after-school programs focusing on Academic Success, Character & Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, Food Insecurity, and Mental Health and Well-Being.
