Co-developed by American Communities Trust Inc. (ACT), and the Baltimore Food Hub Inc. (BFH), the Baltimore Food Hub Project will restore a blighted 125 year old water pumping station to create a thriving campus of commercial and community activity. By co-locating both food and general businesses on a 3.5 acre campus, this $27 million project plants a new economic engine in East Baltimore, where many residents face rates of unemployment, vacancy, and poor health outcomes that are among the highest in the city.
