Summer Camp: Upturn Arts held a 10-week summer arts camp at their onsite location in the Central City neighborhood. This camp offered 515 opportunities (1 opportunity = 30 hours of art) to over 300 hundred families; of which 51% received a creative grant. A total of 26 teaching artists were trained and hired alongside 40 local professional master guest artists with a total of 1,200 hours of arts instruction offered. Over 3,000 meals were served and 1,500 volunteer hours logged. Every camp participated in field trips and public community performances. Additionally, Upturn Arts piloted a teen program for 3 weeks with 8 teens participating, and 100% receiving a creative grant to attend.
