About this organization
Mission
Family Promise of Great Falls provides support and resources to children and their families in a homeless situation until the family can regain sustainable independence.
About
Family Promise of Great Falls welcomed its first homeless family on January 11, 2015. In 2019 we served a total of 36 families and placed 35 families into permanent housing. We continue to receive commitments from local churches and faith communities who provide the volunteers needed to continue services. Since our opening, over 1,200 volunteers have participated in the mandatory volunteer training. We have been successful in applying for some foundation funding and individual donations continue to increase. However, since we do not charge for services, we continue to rely on individual support in order to ensure the future of our organization and its ability to help homeless children and their families. We continue to seek additional funding through grants, foundations, and special events as well.
