Mission

Citrs provides administrators, teachers, schools, and school districts with the latest, most effective tools and approaches they need to successfully integrate comprehensive character development into their school environments.

About

Citrs and character counts! have partnered and implemented a groundbreaking three-year comprehensive character development initiative in 22 buffalo public school district (bpsd) schools. The overarching goal of the initiative is to cultivate ethical, respectful, and caring school environments, in which students can thrive and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Approximately 14,000 pre-k - 12 students in the city of buffalo are benefitting from this initiative, as well as teachers, parents, and the surrounding community. The initiative is being implemented locally by three mentors/coaches in buffalo, three members of the citrs staff located in philadelphia, and three members of the cc! national staff.
